In ancient Egypt they believed at the transition from this world to the next, you were asked two questions that determined whether or not you might continue your journey. The first was “Did you bring joy?” The second was “Did you find joy?”
If you’ve watched the various feeds of my brothers, sisters and family today, you probably know by now that we are dealing with the imminent departure of a second brother in as many months. And yes, I believe he both brought and found joy in his day…
My second eldest sibling, William Russell Griffin, or Bill to most, is staring into the face of God tonight, as he prepares to join the many Family, Friends, Saints and Martyrs who have gone before him. Take a moment and ask that the Angels throw wide the gate to welcome him to his eternal reward.
“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ ~ Matthew 25:23.
I’ll miss you big brother… Give my best to Mama, Papa, Barry, Kevin and JT. 🌹
